Effingham is located about half way between St Louis, Missouri and Indianapolis, Indiana on Interstate 70. And about 3 1/2 hours south of Chicago, Illinois on Interstate 57. The Interstate Highway system brings over 8 million vehicles per year through Effingham. Effingham serves as the hub of commerce and activity for surrounding counties.
